What This Means

For Us

Simons Marketing is a small, woman-owned business committed to continual learning and progress around topics and actions relating to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. It is our desire to surround ourselves with people who, like us, want to do what’s right.

Within our organization, we believe first and foremost in a sense of belonging. If you work with Simons Marketing, you belong here. Each individual is respected for the work and ideas they produce, and is fully embraced as the multi-faceted person they are in the world.

Simons Marketing believes in the importance of diversity of thought. In order to achieve that, we must work with people with varying backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. This helps us bring new and valuable thought leadership solutions to our clients. We are committed to increasing diversity inside our organization in the coming years.

Simons Marketing believes in equitable pay structures and opportunities to grow within the organization. We believe that paying people fairly and in a timely manner is an important piece of justice and equity.

our-journey

What was once just Alison, a reluctant solo-preneurwriter, has evolved into a 12 person team that spans five states, three time zones and a wide range of skills, specialties and experiences. Each new person who joins the team helps us serve clients in new and better ways. Ensuring that team members feel appreciated, fairly compensated and valued has always been at the core of how we operate. However, we realize we've not been intentional about engaging with the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
